Hello, there!

It's me, Gwenyth, back from another day on set. Set? Which set, you ask?

Well, If you didn't know, Abbey and Chloe are making their first stop-motion music video. Or, at least attempting. And, I have the lead role! I really thought that Ruthie was going to get it. I think I just about passed out when the castings were posted. I mean, me, of all people? The lead role?

I thought Ruthie was going to be upset, since she is usually the center of attention and has acted many times before. Surprisingly, she was genuinely happy for me. She's been giving me lots of acting tips and we've spent a lot of time helping out with the styling for the video, in the set wardrobe. I'm really happy that she will be co-starring.

Well, I think I need to go take a nap. Being on set all day can really wear you out. Even if half the scenes shot today required me to lie down on a bed. ^_^

Hello, everybody! It's Abbey.

I just wanted to share with you some photos that I took today. My Dad and I trudged through the deep snow to an old abandoned house in the country to take some photos. We both brought our cameras, but mine ran out of battery while we were there (Yeah, I know. Fail.). Fortunately, his camera still had lots of battery left, so I was able to take some photos with it! The abandoned house was so beautiful, in a mysterious kind of way. I'm not really sure of the exact reason why I love abandoned houses and barns so much (Remember this one?) I think it might be because I get to see the remains of the places that families once called 'home'. Honestly, that's just really exciting for me! If you actually read this little blog post/rant, I applaud you. Now, here are the photos.

We really had the need to share this amazing movement with you.

In 2006, American traveler Blake Mycoskie befriended children in Argentina and found they had no shoes to protect their feet. Wanting to help, he created TOMS Shoes, a company that would match every pair of shoes purchased with a pair of new shoes given to a child in need. One for One. Blake returned to Argentina with a group of family, friends and staff later that year with 10,000 pairs of shoes made possible by TOMS customers.

Why Shoes?

Many children in developing countries grow up barefoot. Whether at play, doing chores or going to school, these children are at risk:

•A leading cause of disease in developing countries is soil-transmitted diseases, which can penetrate the skin through bare feet. Wearing shoes can help prevent these diseases, and the long-term physical and cognitive harm they cause.

•Wearing shoes also prevents feet from getting cuts and sores. Not only are these injuries painful, they also are dangerous when wounds become infected.

•Many times children can't attend school barefoot because shoes are a required part of their uniform. If they don't have shoes, they don't go to school. If they don't receive an education, they don't have the opportunity to realize their potential.

Happy New Year!

Hey, everyone. Mia here!

Today Abbey and Chloe went outside to take some pictures of me with the new camera, while I went skating and played in the snow. I feel so lucky, because I was the first doll to be photographed with the new camera.

Tonight is New Year's Eve! I'm so excited. Abbey and Chloe are going to be taking more photos this year, because of the new camera. So, that means: more blogging than last year! So, what are you doing for New Years Eve? I'm going to go out to the pond with Zoe, Hayden, and Quinn and have a hockey game that lasts "from one year to the next". ^_^

I Come With News!

Hey, everyone!

Abbey here. Merry Christmas! I hope your day is filled with fun, family, and food. ^_^

I come with news! I got...

A new camera. A T2i! Yes, a Canon EOS Digital Rebel T2i! I'm so, so thrilled. I absolutely love it. Now, you're probably wondering "What? Don't you (and Chloe) share a perfectly nice Canon Rebel XS?". Okay, here's the story. The Canon Rebel XS is our Dad's (some of you already know that), and we only got to use it every other weekend. Why? Because we don't live in the same town as our Dad. This is why our blog and YouTube channel weren't really updated all that frequently. And we're really sorry about that, by the way.

Well, fast-forward to the future, and I finally have my very own DSLR. I saved up for a long time, and got some money for a Christmas present from a few different family members (Thank-You!). Also, I suppose this would probably be a good time to tell you that I do most of the photography. A lot of you have been asking about that, and every time you mention it, I giggle at the thought of Chloe and I both trying to look through the camera's viewfinder at the same time:

"Oh! I see! I see it! Do you see it?"

"Yeah! Ready? You press the shutter button on three..."

"1, 2..."

"Oh. Wait. Nope. I can't see it anymore."

Haha! But don't worry, Chloe still helps with the blog. She's just not really that into photography. However, she comes up with great ideas, helps set up for shoots, and other things that just wouldn't be the same without her. So, just think of me as the "Director of Photography". ^_^

Okay, enough rambling. The point is: there will be plenty more blog posts, Flickr updates, and YouTube videos from us. Promise. :)

Hey, everyone! We're blogging from the ski lodge. :)

We're really sorry we haven't been posting all that much. But, we just wanted to say that we have a (really exciting) surprise coming. Like, really exciting. Like, really. Really. Really exciting.

Okay, enough of that. How are you all enjoying your holidays? Are you on Christmas Break? If you are, lucky you! :) We get off on the twenty-second. If you are on Christmas Break, tell us what you've done so far, or what you're planning on doing!

First Snowfall!

Hey everyone! It's me, Ruthie.

Guess what? It finally snowed here! It's about time. We've all been waiting for it. We get more and more snow each day now. It's even snowing right now. How lovely! :)

Hopefully the ski hills will open soon. Maybe then, Abbey and Chloe can stop spazzing out because of 'skiing withdrawl.' ^_^

Anyways, guess what I did today? I found an old box of blue and silver tree ornaments, and decorated one of the small evergreens out in the backyard. I think it looks beautiful, and the tree is just my size. Now every time I look out my window, I get really excited, because it reminds me that Christmas isn't too far away!

Hi, everyone! Gwen here.

I just wanted to let you all know that Abbey, Chloe, and I will be on a camping trip until the 26th. Since they are taking me along, expect lots of photos when we get back.

I've packed my suitcase, and I'm so excited to head out tomorrow morning. Abbey and Chloe say I packed way too much clothing, but I say; "It's better to have too many clothes, than to have none at all!"

Hey, there! Abbey here. Chloe is gone to camp for the week, but I thought I would do an update post. So, what have you all been up to? Chloe and I just got back from a shopping trip with our Mom and Nana (Grandma) to an American city, which shall not be named. Sorry! It was tons of fun, though.

Anyways, in a recent post, we told you that we had some pretty exciting doll-related things coming up, and one of those things is happening very soon! We are so excited, but we still can't give you any details. However... we can give you this.

Hmmm... you might be able to tell what it is, but what could it mean?

Abbey & Chloe here! Have you all been having a good summer? We hope so. We've been busy having fun (yes, you can be busy and have fun at the same time), but we're still making time to take doll photos and make videos. We made a new video of Sonali in Liberty Jane Clothing the other day, and we thought we'd share a few pictures with you. To check out the whole video, click here.

We love the 'depth of field' in this one. The first flower is clear, the second is getting blurry, and the third is very blurry. Cameras are quite amazing.

1980's Photos

Well, hello! It seems as if we haven't blogged in forever. We just got back from camping with our family, and it was tons of fun. But it was also great to come home, because... we came back to see a whopping one-zero-zero-zero under the word 'subscribers' on our YouTube Channel. 1000 subscribers? Wow. If you are a subscriber, thank you so much. In the beginning, we never even thought we'd reach 100. :P

Anyways, while we were camping, we totally forgot about taking doll photos, but then remembered just a few minutes before we left. So, these are some pretty rushed photos. Sorry! They are inspired by the 1980's. After we got home and uploaded them to the computer, Abbey looked through some old photo albums from the 1980's, and tried to give the photos the same effect. The photos aren't total fails, but they're definitely not perfect. The brownie scout uniform that Mia is wearing in the photos is the same style of brownie scout uniform that came out around 1986, so the uniform goes well with the effect of the photos. If this is making any sense... We'll just stop blabbering now.

Faraway Downs by Liberty Jane

Our second-place prize from Liberty Jane Clothing finally arrived yesterday! We chose Faraway Downs. It is definitely our favorite from the Spring 2010 Collection. Right when it arrived, Sonali claimed this stunning frock for herself. But who can blame her? It looks beautiful against her chocolate brown skin. The fabric and detailing is amazing, especially the frills, ruffles, and the adorable little poof sleeves. We also tried using the belt as a headband, just by tying it in a knot in the back. And, well, to sum it all up - Cinnamon is a genius.

"Hey, Sonali. Isn't it a gorgeous day?" said Ruthie.

"It is, isn't it? A perfect day to play by the barn." exclaimed Sonali

"I agree," nodded Ruthie. "Would you like an apple I picked from the tree?"

"Sure, Ruthie. But that looks like a Liberty Jane bag to me."

"No, silly. I was collecting the apples in this bag!" said Ruthie, laughing, as she nudged an apple close to her friend.

"Well, of course I'd like an apple, then." said Sonali, with a smile.

"Oh, and speaking of Liberty Jane. Did you know that Abbey and Chloe won second place in the Facebook portion of their Valenspring Contest? And their blogging friend, Sitara won second in the YouTube portion!"

"That's so exciting! I wonder which outfits they'll choose. I just love wearing Liberty Jane." beamed Sonali.

It's Been So Long!

Hey, everyone! We're so sorry we haven't updated in such a long time. We usually only like to post if we have pictures, but the PowerShot isn't really working as well as it used to. It's kind of getting old. And the Rebel is currently getting packed up and making it's way to Italy with our Dad! How cool is that? The school he works at is having a trip to Italy, and he gets to go. Maybe when he gets back, we will post a few pictures he took there. But before the camera got packed away, we took a few pictures of Hayden in a new Liberty Jane Patterns T-Shirt we made. (We definitely recommend using LJ Patterns). The rest of her outfit is Liberty Jane, too, but we didn't make it (It's from the Fall Contest Outfit, "Ciao, L'autunno"). We hope to make some jeans, and maybe more tops soon, though. Sewing is really easy with Liberty Jane Patterns. Anyways, the outfit we blogged about in our last post should probably be here soon, and there will definitely be a post and a YouTube video when it comes.

Well, this time, we really will try to update more. It's just hard to take pictures because of the weather. It's really nice outside, but everything is wet , because the snow has just started melting here. We were lucky to find dry spots to take these (below) pictures! As it gets a less wet, we promise there will be more pictures. And, check out Hayden and Quinn's new post, if you'd like. Well, that's all for now.

Hey, bloggers! We're so sorry for not posting for such a long time. So we decided to do an update post. Sorry, no pictures. But there will be pictures coming soon, and we just posted a new slideshow/photoshoot on our YouTube. Click HERE to watch it. And... a new outfit is coming! We're not going to tell you much about it yet, but when it comes, there will be pictures. We will say that it is not from American Girl (it's still a doll outfit) and there's kind of an exciting story behind it! (Well, exciting to us.) So, it will hopefully be here soon. Back From Minneapolis!

Hey, bloggers! We are back from our trip to Minneapolis. We arrived just last night. We had such a fun time! We bought a few outfits (and yes, some of the new ones) , but we're not going to tell you everything because it's always more exciting with pictures (which will probably be taken today). No new dolls came home, because right now we are really happy with the dolls we have. Some dolls may be coming home in the future (?), but not yet. We especially loved #26 (Abbey has been wanting her, even since before she had a doll. But is scared to take care of her gorgeous curls!), and #38, #37 (Sitara's "Devyn"!) and #44 in person. They were all so beautiful. We also went to the bistro, which was delicious. We had no time for the hair salon, but we loved watching dolls getting their hair fixed. It's kind of amazing, what they can do! Anyways, we have a video of our trip on our YouTube Channel. Sonali the Designer

Hey, bloggers! It's me, Sonali. Yesterday Abbey and I started sewing a Liberty Jane T-Shirt from Liberty Jane Patterns. So far, it's working out great, but today we have to buy some yellow thread, and possibly velcro, if there is any in this town. Haha! I'm really excited, because Abbey said that I get to be the first to wear it. When I grow up, I want to have my own line of designer clothing. Who says dolls can't sew, design, and sketch?

Today, I had a photoshoot. I'm just showing you my one favorite picture, though. As you might be able to see, there are little snowflake/snow crystal things on one of the lenses of my glasses, but I think it looks really cool! I'm wearing the top that goes under Julie's Christmas Dress, and Liberty Jane jeans, even though you can't see them. I'm really excited for summer, because photoshoots are so much easier then. I'll post again when I finish making my Liberty Jane T-Shirt with Abbey.

Winter Pictures and Excitement!

Hello, bloggers! We think we owe you guys a couple of pictures. So, today we took Aimee outside for a winter photo-shoot in Rayvn's (Our Best Friend's) new Fancy Flower Dress. A few pictures turned out good, but not most of them. Because we had to use the Canon PowerShot, which Abbey is very mad at! She likes the Canon Rebel a thousand times more.

Anyways, we have some exciting news! Well, it's exciting to us. We're going to American Girl Place again! You might know this if you check up on AGsisters YouTube Channel. But.. most of you probably didn't know that. We're so excited! It's rare that this happens, because we live in Canada, so It's kind of a long drive. This will be our second time going, and it's in Minneapolis at the Mall of America. If you want to see our last trip there, click HERE to watch an old video. We're counting down the days. So, only 19 more days. :)

Winter Olympics 2010

Hello, fellow bloggers and blog-readers. Sorry for not posting for so long. We kind of took a break, without warning you guys.

Anyways, you all know about the Olympics right? This year, the Winter Olympics are taking place in Vancouver, Canada. Why is this exciting? We are Canadian! Which means the torch has to pass through a bunch of Canadian towns and cities to get to Vancouver. And... the torch passed through our little town! It was really exciting, since we love winter sports, like skiing. We made an Olympic video, with a few pictures and a little advertisement-like thing. You can watch it HERE. Here is a picture of Sonali showing off her new Olympic Mascot, Sumi. Although Chloe prefers Miga, and Abbey likes Muk-Muk (the Mascot's sidekick). Chloe found these cute little doll-sized apples from a thrift store the other day. We put them in a doll-sized basket that we already had, and it looks adorable:

Mia, here. Merry Christmas! I can't believe it's Christmas already. It does not seem like last Christmas was a whole year ago.

Anyways, our friend Samantha is visiting us for the holidays. She will hopefully get some pictures taken of her soon, and Abbey and Chloe will probably let her blog, too. Abbey and Chloe say that she's a very special doll because she is a very old "Pre-Mattel" Samantha. Sometimes I have no idea what they're saying. She's just a doll, like me!

Yesterday, I got to go outside in my friend's Midnight Holly Christmas dress for a photo-shoot. It was lots of fun, because It was snowing! And there was a lot of snow on the ground. I wasn't cold, though. It's actually quite nice out these days, even though they are predicting a blizzard tonight. Well, here is a picture I'd like to share with you. Merry Christmas!

It's Ruthie, once again. I really like blogging on here, so I decided to blog again. Today I got to wear couture! Liberty Jane. I'm still wearing it as I type this, and it makes me feel like a star! Which is what I am destined to be, obviously. Anyways, I went in the yard to take a walk in the snow, and I got lots of portraits taken of me. An actress-to-be can never have too many headshots, you know. On another note, it's finally Christmas Holidays! There is tons of snow, and it's very, very nice out these days. Oh, and Abbey and Chloe want to thank Sitara from Mari Luna's Wonderful Blog, for using their idea for her latest photoshoot. They thought the pictures were absolutely gorgeous, and so do I. Ruthie, here! No, I'm not Abbey or Chloe's doll, but I am over here visiting my friends. This is my first time blogging on the "American Girl Adventures" blog, so I hope I'm doing this right. Today I ate lunch with all of my friends here (Abbey and Chloe have a gigantic version of Chrissa's Table!), wrapped some presents, and got some pictures taken of me by the Christmas tree. Liberty Jane Outfit Came!

The Liberty Jane Fall Contest '09 outfit came! (It came over a week ago, but Blogger wouldn't let us post pictures) It's called "Ciao, L'autunno" and it is absolutely gorgeous. The quality is amazing and it is always on one of the dolls now :) I only have good things to say about this outfit. Here they are:

Hey, everyone. Long time no post! We have some exciting news, even though some of you probably already know this. We won the Liberty Jane Fall '09 Contest! Well, Abbey drew it but we are definitely going to share the outfit when it comes. If you do not know what Liberty Jane is (have you been living under a rock?), it is an amazing company that makes clothes for American Girl Dolls. They base some of their outfits on outfits that celebrities have worn, and they design their own. The outfits are absolutely beautiful. It's "Doll Couture". Hey, everyone. It's Mia again. I got to go to one of Abbey and Chloe's family gatherings in a town about an hour and a half away from where we live. My friend Julie came, too! We hung out in the camper a lot, and played outside. I even got some pictures taken of me standing in a tree! And also, one of Abbey and Chloe's relatives (who makes pottery) sent us little miniatures of the pottery that she usually makes. So, they are the perfect size for us! Hey, bloggers! It's Mia. Sorry this blog hasn't been updated in such a long time, I've been busy with....the American Girl Modeling Academy! It is a contest/academy on YouTube where there is a new assignment every week, and the contest has almost come to an end :( It is been so much fun, and I love smiling for the camera all the time. :) And guess what? Avery from the blog, "Avery-Here!" is also in the competition. Her videos are all great and I wish there was some way we could tie for first place. India's Independence Day, 45th Post, And We're Back!

Bloggers and blog readers, we are back from camping! Aimee and Sonali had a lot of fun, though we did not get as much pictures as we wanted, so the album will not be that huge. We will make the album soon, but we decided not to today. And guess what? This is our 45th post! I guess that's not a lot, since we've been on here for about eight months. Wow! Eight months. It still seems we haven't been doing this for long, though. Now Sonali is begging to tell you all something, so we'll type what she says:

"Hey, guys! It's Sonali, the amazingly beautiful one who you can't help but love...

Us: Sonali, just get to the point already.

"What? It's true!"

Us: "Yeah, sure. Now tell them."

"Ugh, fine. Today, my friends....is..... India's Independence Day! I am from India, but I moved here when I was really little. I want to go back someday, though. Anyway, India's Independence Day, August 15th, is to celebrate its independence from British rule. I didn't do much to celebrate, but I did wear my bindi and sari-type scarf. It's not actually a sari, just a scarf in that sort of design. One day I hope to own a real sari, though. I also did some of India's, traditional dancing, since dancing is one of my favorite things to do. Here is a picture of me, in my bindi and scarf, having some India spirit. Oh, and I just want to say to Sitara's Sonali, that I promise I did not mean to take this idea from you. Since we are both Indian, I think it's great that we both celebrated in some way. I can definitely take this post down, if you want. Just tell me If you want me to, and I will. Happy India's Independence Day, everyone!"

Camping!

Hola, amigas! (Sorry, I felt like typing in Spanish,) It's Aimee. Guess what? Tomorrow I'm going camping at Pine Lake with Sonali. We're all packed up and ready to go. It's about a three and a half hour drive but it's definitely worth it. Remember that post we did a while back that said we were going to Pine Lake? Well this is that trip. Click HERE to see the old post. Abbey and Chloe are going to try to make a big Pine Lake album of all the activites we do, so we will for sure post next week. We will also post the pictures on our YouTube. Sonali and I might keep you posted once or twice this week, IF the laptop is coming. I have a feeling it's not, though. The Table is Finished! (And Other Stuff..)

As you might know, we mentioned in one of our posts that we were making a replica of "Chrissa's Party Table" with our Dad. Well, It's done! It turned out great. It fits all seven of the dolls and even three more. Our friend Rayvn came over today and brought her Ruthie, Ivy, and Zoey. We took a bunch of pictures of all of the dolls with the table. Click HERE to see the album. And also, Rayvn just got back from American Girl Place in Minneapolis. Yes, she got to go again! Lucky duck :) And we asked her to pick up a few things and she did! (Thanks, Ray!) So our new outfits are, the new "Wilderness Outfit", the "Petal Hoodie Outfit", the "Flutter Flower Outfit", the "Sleepover Food and Fun Set" (No, it's not an outfit) and the "Rosy Posy Outfit" (for my Nana's Bitty Baby). Rayvn also went to the American Girl Outlet in Wisconsin and got us the retired Licorice Play Tower. (Thanks, again!) Haha, It was almost like Christmas morning!

Now we'll go on to something else. We won't be able to post for a while (a week maybe?) because we are both going to summer camp. And I don't think we are going to do a "scheduled post". Aimee Gets Her First AG Doll!

Hey, guys! It's Aimee. I am soooo excited! A week ago I ordered my first American Girl doll, and today, she finally came! I knew I wanted a historical, because I love their stories, but then I had to pick one. That was the hard part. I ended up picking.... Kit Kittredge! Kit is from 1934 and her stories are about growing up in Cincinnati during the Great Depression. She loves writing and wants to be a reporter when she grows up. She has a best friend named Ruthie who love fantasy and fairytales, like Quinn! I am so happy I picked Kit, she is the perfect doll for me. Here are some pictures of me opening my new doll.

Hey everyone! It's Abbey and Chloe. We haven't posted for a while. Guess why? We've been busy making a replica of "Chrissa's Party Table"! We're not that far yet, we're almost done the top part, though. We'll definitely post pictures when it's done. The cool thing is, the Chrissa table only fits four dolls, but our table is going to fit six! We also bought pink paint to (sort of) match the color of the real table. Hey guys! I'm back from my long stay at Rayvn's house. I am so glad to be home, even though I loved spending time with Ruthie and Zoey. Ivy went back to Rayvn's house when I came back home. Both Ivy and I had so much fun on our stays. The fun thing about coming back home after a long stay is that you get smothered in hugs and everybody wants to talk to you :) Oh, and I got some pictures taken of me, too! Here they are.

As you might know, me and all of the other dolls here are Canadian. We might be American Girl dolls but we are definitely Canadian. Yesterday was Canada day and I dressed up in red and white, Canada's colors. Abbey and Chloe didn't have time to post yesterday because they were at Canada Day beach celebrations (Fireworks!) and stuff like that. So, even if you are not Canadian, HAPPY (LATE) CANADA DAY! The Great Talent Show/Competition

Hello people of the blogging world! It's Julie. Yesterday we had a big talent show. Hayden and Quinn hosted and announced in it, and there were four different acts. I did some magic tricks, Aimee played her guitar, Gwen and Ivy did a puppet show, and Sonali did some ballet. We made a huge album/photostory. And here's the awesome thing. Hello. It's Aimee. We haven't posted in a while. Anyway, it's finally starting to act like summer around her, so Abbey and Chloe decided to take some pictures of us outside. Ivy is still here and we are having lots of fun with her. I think she is going back soon, though. Abbey only has to take two more pictures of her for the contest she's entering. Sonali and Gwen Go Hiking!

Hey! It's Sonali and Gwen. We know the title says we went hiking, but we really just went for a walk down some hiking trails, for like, twenty minutes. But we'll just say we went hiking. It was really fun. We went down by the creek. It was going so fast! And everywhere you looked, there was trees. And lots of paths to walk on. We even saw a beaver! Here is a picture of us on a trail.

Oh, and the surprise was supposed to come by today. But it didn't :( It should hopefully come soon, though.

So I found my old set with the sea lion and the seal and went outside to play with it. You cab actually fill the pool up with water! I had so much fun. Here's some pictures.

Hello! Ivy again. Okay, Abbey took some pictures of me for the contest she's entering. The category for this round is "Heroes". And If you didn't know, my hero is Edna. Doll Exchange and A Surprise!

Hey! It's Ivy! This is the first time I have ever written on here. I'm not even Abbey & Chloe's doll. I'm Rayvn's doll. You know, the one from www.adayinthelifeofAG.blogspot.com. Anyway, Abbey gave Mia to Rayvn and Rayvn gave me to Abbey (for a while). Abbey wanted me for a few days to take some pictures of me for a photography contest. I feel so special! Tee hee :) I get to hang out with Sonali everyday this week! It's so exciting! Anyway, this picture is not for the photography contest, but It was taken today.

Yeah, I know, that's what happens when you live in Canada. We had snow like, last week. But now it's finally getting to be spring-weather-ish. Hey, It's Mia. Today I took my kitty, Licorice for a walk. Sure, it was only in the backyard, but I didn't care. I even got a new leash for Licorice. The pictures aren't the best pictures on the blog, but it was almost dark out already. We got a few good-ish ones, though. Here they are!

Hi! It's Gwen. Hope you didn't mind that.... best friends do that sometimes. Anyway, on the weekend, Sonali and I went to the park. We played on the play structure and had lots of fun. We took pictures of us playing and sitting in an old gazebo window. The walk there was fun, too, because Abbey and Chloe took is in a backpack. Me and Sonali could tell secrets and nobody would hear us! Anyway, here are some pictures from the park.

Outdoor Library!

Hey! It's Aimee, Mia, Sonali and Gwen. We're all going to say something different for today.

Aimee - Before Mia, Sonali, and Gwen went out to rollerblade, heely and skateboard, I set up an outdoor library! It doesn't have very many books, but you're free to have the books for a while, as long as you return them!

Sonali, Mia, and Gwen - We were just rollerblading, heelying, and skateboarding down the driveway, when we saw a sign that said "Outdoor Library" with an arrow pointing right (We're pretty sure that the Outdoor Library was actually to the left, though). We decided to go check it out. When we got there, Aimee was standing behind a shelf of books! Apparently, she had always wanted to be a librarian! Who knew?

Hey, It's Julie! Today is one of my favorite days of the year. Earth Day! I love doing different small things to help save the Earth. For Earth Day this year, I went to the park to pick up litter, and then I just enjoyed the outdoors (and made sure to wear green to show my Earth Day spirit!) I also brought my bunny, Nutmeg, with me! Do some Earth-friendly things today (And everyday!) Here are some Earth Day pictures.

Hey, guys! It's Mia. Yes, I know the last post was about me, too. But technically, this was still part of my birthday celebration. For part of my birthday present, Abbey got to take me to her family's Easter family gathering, which is only about a little over an hour away, but I would still call that traveling. We finished sewing my new PJ's with Abbey and her Nana, I played on GIGANTIC snow hills (but the snow is almost gone, as I write this), and I did some heelying down the driveway. Oh, and we also colored Easter eggs. They were so pretty! Here are some pictures that Abbey took of me. (These pictures were taken a few weeks ago..)

Let's Go On A Birthday Picnic!

Hey, It's Mia! Tomorrow I will be celebrating my 11th birthday, but we decided to have the party early, since it was the weekend. It was actually kind of like a birthday party for me AND my friend Zoe. Zoe's birthday is next month so we shared the party. It was a picnic theme! Anyway, I invited my 7 best friends (who I call my sisters), Sonali, Aimee, Gwen, Julie, Ivy, Zoe, and Ruthie. We had so much fun. First we ate our lunch on the picnic blanket. We had sandwiches, veggies, watermelon, pink lemonade, and even cake! When we were done eating, we had a dance competition on the picnic blanket. It was so funny! We had to make up a dance on the spot! Then, Aimee and Zoe played "Happy Birthday" to me! It was so nice! Aimee plays the guitar and Zoe plays the violin. Next, Zoe and I got to open our presents! We got lots of cool stuff that you will see in the pictures. We ended the day by watching a movie and having a sleepover. It was the best birthday party ever!

Hi! It's Sonali. Today Abbey and Chloe wanted to take pictures outside and they asked if they could take some pictures of me. Of course, I said yes. At first we went outside to a field close by our house to take pictures by an old fence, but it was so windy and cold that I kept falling over, and it was too hard to take pictures (It's Spring! And it's still snowy and windy!). So, they decided to take pictures out on the deck. Here is one picture!

Hey guys! It's Mia and Julie! We just wanted to tell you about our awesome weekend! Abbey and Chloe's friend, Rayvn came over for a sleepover (surprise, surprise) and she brought her dolls, which are our best friends, Ivy and Zoe! The first day, we dressed up in a bunch of wacky clothes and took pictures! We didn't exactly know we even had wacky clothes, but we did once we just threw a bunch of stuff together! Hey guys! It's Mia, Aimee, and Julie here! We're sort of taking over the blog. As you may know from our last post, we recently went to American Girl Place in the Mall of America! It was so fun! Well since this was a once in a lifetime chance, we kinda stocked up on stuff. Ok, we really stocked up on stuff. Abbey and Chloe said that it barely fit in the trunk. Unfortunately, we were IN the trunk. It was dark, but it was fun talking all the way home. We got lots of new clothes, and even three new friends! Abbey got Sonali Matthews, one of the Girl of the Year's 2009, and Abbey and Chloe's mom got Gwen, one of the other Girl of the Year's 2009. And Abbey & Chloe's friend Rayvn, her mom got Ruthie Smithens! Kit's best friend, from the 1930's. Here are some pictures! Sorry we don't have any pictures of Rayvn's new clothes, and Ruthie. We're Back!

Hey guys! Yesterday we got back from Minneapolis. We went there mostly just for

shopping! Most of the shopping time was spent at.....American Girl Place! When we heard that

there was an American Girl Store opening in Minneapolis, we were so excited that we could

finally go to American Girl Place! We had tons of fun eating at the AG Bistro, getting our dolls

hair done, and shopping! The most exciting thing is... three more dolls entered the doll family!

I ,(Abbey) got Sonali Matthews, Chrissa (The Girl of 2009)'s best friend. I knew when I saw her,

she was the doll. My mom, (yes, my Mom) got Gwen Thompson, who is also part of Chrissa's best

friend collection. She is adorable. And our friend, Rayvn, her mom got Ruthie Smithens. Kit

Hey Guys! Or should we say, "Bye, Guys" :D It's Mia, Aimee, and Julie here. Abbey and Chloe don't feel like updating the blog right now, so we are doing it for them. Well, the reason we are saying "Bye!" is because we are heading off to the American Girl Place at the Mall of America! We are sooooo excited! We are going with two of our other friends, who are also dolls, Ivy and Zoe. They are Abbey and Chloe's friend's dolls. Of course, Abbey and Chloe are coming too, along with their best friend, Rayvn. They even told us that we are getting two new (doll) friends to bring home! But we're not going to say who, it's a surprise! But don't worry, we'll be sure to show you some pictures when we get back!
